Alternate Driving

Whether it be for long distance travel or for urban commute, there is no doubt to me that the landscape of personal transportation is undergoing a dramatic change. Whether it be a result of the hike in oil prices in 2008 where gasoline passed the $4.00 a gallon mark in the US for the first time in history, or whether it is a result of political policies that provide incentives for greener solutions, or simply a result of car companies trying to appeal to demographic that is more environmentally conscious, who knows.  The fact is that, regardless of the exact cause, green methods of transportation are proliferating.

And I'm sure there are many more out there, but this is just a small sampling of what is to come in the realm of personal transportation.  Many of these have gone beyond the concept stage and will be available within the next 2 years.
